ROQUE DESIGN is a residential design and construction management studio serving Washington, DC and Southern California.
We specialize in thoughtful renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, ADUs, and additions—bringing together design, material sourcing, and construction coordination to create spaces that are functional, refined, and built around the way our clients live.
MEET ENRIQUE
My introduction to design and remodeling happened almost by accident. As a teenager in San Francisco, a group of friends invited me to help convert a garage into what we would now call an ADU—a two-bedroom apartment with a three-quarter bathroom, while still preserving space to park cars.
I had never seen anything like it. At the time, I didn’t even know what interior architecture was, but seeing an underused space completely reimagined changed the way I looked at homes and sparked an interest that has stayed with me ever since.
After serving three years in the U.S. Navy, I continued renovation work while earning my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, followed by more than 20 years in corporate management.
In 2017, I brought those experiences together and founded ROQUE DESIGN, combining design, construction knowledge, and project management to create thoughtful, functional spaces and guide clients from concept through completion.
